Depending on your sewing machine, you may wish to use canvas, faux leather or cork to make this bag. The foam stabiliser means that you can make it from cotton fabrics and the bag will still have enough structure to maintain it’s shape.

Whatever fabrics you decide to use, make sure they’re suitable for your sewing machine. For domestic machines, it’s usually best to stick with cotton, especially for your first bag.
