PDF Sewing Patterns

All sewing patterns on our site are PDFs and will be automatically delivered to you by email when purchased. See the “How to download patterns” page for further information. If you don’t receive your download link straight away, you can download your patterns from your account login, or email us at countrycowdesigns@gmail.com for additional help.

Physical Products – UK


  • Royal Mail Tracked 24 (delivery aim is 1 working day): fixed price is £4 and FREE for orders over £50
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 (delivery aim is 2 working days): fixed price £3
  • If your package hasn’t arrived 10 working days after dispatch, please contact us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com,so we can review/resend your order. We can’t be held responsible for the errors or delays of Royal Mail in delivering your package, but we will do what we can to locate the package for you if it’s delayed. If your order is lost by Royal Mail, we will resend it free of charge, only after 10 working days have passed.

Physical Products – USA & Puerto Rico

  • Shipping starts at £10 ($12.50) with Royal Mail Tracked (then USPS), 1-3 weeks tracked & insured
  • Also available, DHL Express, 3 day delivery aim tracked (mainland USA ONLY)
  • For Royal Mail deliveries, if you have not received your package within 32 working days from dispatch, please contact us. We will resend your order (subject to stock availability). We are a small business and cannot afford to reimburse lost packages before this time. 99% of packages turn up within the 32 working day period so we will not be able to resend or refund your order until that time has passed
  • You are responsible for paying any import taxes or fees due for shipments into your country. Import fees, taxes and handling fees from the delivery company are NOT included in our delivery cost. You are responsible for checking the import rules for your country before placing an order

Physical Products – Canada & Australia

  • Shipping starts at £10 with Royal Mail, then your national postal courier, 1-4 weeks tracked and insured. For this service, you are responsible for paying any import taxes or fees due for shipments into your country. Import fees, taxes and handling fees from the delivery company are NOT included in the delivery cost. You are responsible for checking the import rules for your country before placing an order
  • For Royal Mail deliveries, if you have not received your package within 32 working days from dispatch, please contact us. We will resend your order (subject to stock availability). From 28th November 2024 Canada Post strikes mean we can't offer Royal Mail shipping to Canada. Only DHL is available to Canada for the time being.



Physical Products – EU

  • Due to the new GPSR regulations, we are no longer able to ship to the EU. Digital patterns can be purchased through our Etsy shop here.

Delayed or Lost parcels

Orders that are lost in the post will be resent by us once we have verified the correct delivery details. UK orders are classed as lost 10 working days after dispatch. International orders are classed as lost 32 working days after dispatch (14 days for the EU). If a parcel is returned to us because you supplied us with an incorrect address, we will request that you pay an additional shipping payment so we can re-send the order to you.


If a parcel is delayed or lost because you supplied us with an incorrect address, this is not covered under our replacement guarantee and we cannot resend your order free of charge. You will be required to place a new order or wait for the parcel to hopefully be returned to us which can take a few months.

Refund/Returns Policy


PDF Sewing Patterns Returns


Unfortunately as our sewing patterns are digital items, they can’t be returned so we’re unable to offer refunds for digital purchases. When
purchasing a digital product from us, the terms & conditions at checkout confirm that you give up your right to cancel the purchase under EU consumer laws as the item is non-returnable.


Physical Product Returns


It’s important to us that you’re happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your items, you can return your order to us. This is your “right of withdrawal”. Items must be returned at your expense, within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.

Click here to use our returns portal to arrange your tracked return (UK only). Return postage costs £3 and will be deducted from your refund amount after your items are returned.

Alternatively, you can return your item(s) to us using a courier of your choice, or you can return items in-person at our shop. To do this, you just need your order number which is located on your order confirmation email. We’re located at 1 Chi Teyrdelen, Stret Dor Wartha, Newquay, Cornwall, England, TR8 4RT.

If your item is faulty - please contact us by email at shop@countrycowdesigns.com.

If you are outside the UK - please contact us by email at shop@countrycowdesigns.com to arrange your return.


Please double check measurements and read product details thoroughly before purchasing. When you cancel or return your order, we incur costs that are not refunded to us such as payment processing fees and postage costs.


To qualify for a refund, the products must be unused and in re-saleable condition. Once we’ve inspected the returned items, we’ll process your refund within 5 working days. The refund will be processed to the same payment source used for purchase but it may take more than 5 working days for you to receive the refund, depending on your bank/payment issuer and the speed at which they process the payment.


Return delivery charges are payable by the customer, not Country Cow Designs, except where items are faulty.


In certain circumstances, we will only grant a partial refund. This includes where any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery. You’ll be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning your order. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage or tracking when returning your items as we can’t guarantee receipt of your order.



Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund when expected, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider. Please bear in mind, it can take several days for your bank to process the refund and show it in your account.

If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund 7 working days after you were notified of your refund, please contact us.



Damaged/Faulty items: If you think you’ve received an item that’s damaged, faulty, or otherwise incorrect, please contact us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com with a photo and description of the fault. We will get back to you within 24 hours to resolve the issue.
