This fun backpack is designed to be a half and half bag. It's great for keeping your valuables secure as you can wear it with the opening against your back. Use two exterior fabrics to create a bag that looks entirely different from two different sides and can be worn whichever way you prefer. It doesn't have a front and back, but instead has two faces!

  • 2 Exterior expandable pockets for standard size drink bottles
  • 1 Interior zip pocket
  • 2 Interior slip pockets
  • 1 Interior bottle holder
  • 4 Interior card slots

  • For the “second exterior” fabric, which is used around the main closure, I recommend using cotton or canvas. This will make it much easier to sew and be more forgiving if a mistake is made. Fabrics that don’t heal, such as vinyl, cork or waxed canvas, are only recommended for experienced bag makers.
  • For the “first exterior” fabric, cotton, canvas, vinyl or cork are good choices but beware of the thickness that will build up in the seams. Can your machine handle the thickness? For domestic machines, it’s usually best to stick with cotton, especially for your first bag.
  • The accent fabric needs to be cork, vinyl or leather as there will be raw edges on show. This is used for the expandable pocket trims, interior slip pocket trim and base overly.
14" tall x 10" wide x 3 3/4" deep (35.5cm t x 25.5cm w x 9.5cm d)

  • Reversible for security
  • Use two different fabrics to create a bag that you can wear two different ways
  • Expandable pockets on the exterior to fit standard size drink bottles
  • Lots of pockets for organising inside the bag
You can sell products made from this design on a home-based production scale.

Immediately after purchase, you will receive the following files:
