RETURNS
NOT HAPPY WITH SOMETHING?
It’s important to us that you’re happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your products simply email us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com within 14 days of receiving your package and request a return. Or you can send us a Whatsapp message +447518142548. This is your “right of withdrawal”. Items must be returned at your expense, within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage or tracking when returning your items as we can’t guarantee receipt of your order.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. The simplest way to provide this is to reply to the original order confirmation email. To qualify for a refund, your products must be returned unused and in a re-saleable condition. Once we’ve inspected the returned items, we’ll refund you within 14 days. The refund will be processed to the same payment source used for purchase. In certain circumstances, we will only grant a partial refund. This includes where any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

When you cancel or return your order, we incur costs that are not refunded to us such as payment processing fees and postage costs. As a small business, these costs negatively impact us so please check measurements and read product details thoroughly before purchasing. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to send us an email.

If you haven’t received a refund when expected, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider. Please bear in mind, it can take several days for your bank to process the refund and show it in your account.
If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund 7 working days after you were notified of your refund, please contact us.

DAMAGED, FAULTY OR MISSING ITEMS?
If you think you’ve received an item that’s damaged, faulty, or otherwise incorrect, please contact us straight away by emailing us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com with a photo and description of the fault. We will get back to you within 48 hours to resolve the issue (usually quicker).

If we’ve sent you the wrong item, we’ll let you keep it at no cost, and we'll also send you the correct item.

If you believe an item is missing, please check the packaging thoroughly and unpack your entire order. We like to do our bit to help the planet and that means reducing packaging and space. To achieve this, we often roll items within each other. For example, if you’ve ordered 2 x 1 metre cuts of zip tape and 1 metre of webbing, we’ll roll them together in one bag. If your order is completely unpacked and you’re certain an item is missing, please email us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com.

Recommended Safe Use Guidelines:

To ensure safe use of this paper sewing pattern and associated materials, users are advised to adhere to the following:

  1. Read All Instructions Thoroughly: Before beginning any project, carefully read and understand all instructions provided with the pattern, including any specific safety warnings or guidance for fabric preparation, cutting, and sewing.
  2. Use Appropriate Tools Safely:
    • Always use sharp tools (scissors, rotary cutters, pins, needles) with extreme care and away from the body.
    • Keep all sharp objects and small parts out of reach of children and pets.
    • Exercise caution when operating a sewing machine, keeping fingers clear of the needle and moving parts. Never leave a sewing machine unattended when powered on.
    • When using an iron, follow manufacturer's instructions, use a stable ironing surface, and keep hot irons away from flammable materials and out of reach of children.
  3. Maintain a Safe Workspace: Work in a well-lit, organised, and clutter-free area to minimise distractions and the risk of accidents.
  4. Adult Supervision for Minors: This pattern is intended for use by individuals who can safely handle sewing tools and follow instructions. Children and vulnerable adults should only use this pattern under direct, responsible adult supervision.
  5. Proper Storage: Store patterns in a dry place, away from heat sources and where they cannot be easily accessed by children or pets. Consider transferring pattern pieces to more durable materials (e.g., cardstock, tracing paper) for repeated use to minimise wear and tear on the original pattern, which could lead to inaccurate cutting.

Disposal: Dispose of worn or unwanted paper patterns responsibly, preferably through recycling.

By following these guidelines, users can minimise potential risks and enjoy a safe and successful sewing experience.

Making the bag:
To make this bag you’ll need to use various tools/equipment. You should only use tools that are well maintained and that you are competent using. I recommend reading and following the safety instructions provided by the manufacturer of each tool.

This pattern does not include safety precautions for the use of tools, so you are responsible for the safe use of any tools you use. If in doubt, seek guidance from an experienced professional of the tools you are using or contact the manufacturer directly. You are responsible for ensuring that you have a safe and suitable working environment.

The instructions in this pattern are suggestions only and you are responsible for ensuring that you can carry out the suggestions safely without causing injury or harm to yourself or others. You are also responsible for ensuring that your sewing machine and other equipment are capable of carrying out the suggestions. I cannot be held accountable for damage caused because the tools used are unsuitable.
