*PLEASE READ* colours show differently on different screens and look different in varying light. These photos are the closest representation we could get to the in life colours. If you require an exact colour, we recommend you visit us in store so you can see the fabric in person. Or you can purchase a colour sample pack here. Photos may include finished bags or other items for illustrative purposes only. This listing is just for Mora faux leather.

Usable width: 140cm.

Mora is the brand name for this faux leather, as determined by the manufacturer. It has a cotton backing and feels very soft and supple to touch. With very little shine, and a speckled appearance, it looks beautiful and will give your handmade bag a really high end look. There is a slight two-way stretch running across the width (selvage to selvage).

Made in China.

Customers in the EU can purchase this faux leather from Serial Bag Makers in Belguim or Made by Lullan in Sweden

We've tried to co-ordinate our thread colours to match the faux leather. They're not a perfect match, but they are close and will blend well for a neat topstitch:
Ochre Yellow Faux Leather: 1130 Mustard
Tan Faux Leather: 0277 Light Tan
Anthracite Grey Faux Leather: 1284 Dark Grey
Dark Brown Faux Leather: 0975 Brown
Pumpkin Spice: 0897 Pumpkin Spice
Melon Blush: 0622 Dark Coral
Willow Green: 0650 Willow Green
Dark Lilac: 0300 Light Plum
Amarynth: 1418 Amarynth
Seaspray Teal: 71080 Seaspray Teal
Smokey Green: 0651 Smokey Green
Bordeaux: 0109 Bordeaux

Which zips and webbing match well with our Mora? We discuss this as part of the February 2025 Facebook live session here.

I like to use a universal or Microtex size 90 needle. However, this will differ depending on the sewing machine, the thickness and type of thread, and the other fabrics you're sewing with.

CLEANING: We do not recommend washing this fabric in a machine as standard detergents will reduce it's waterproof coating. Do not tumble dry. If you spill something on the fabric, it will run right off. Simply rinse with water to remove any excess, then hang it to drip dry. If you need to clean the fabric further, spot clean with a damp cloth and a mild soap. Test on an offcut or out of sight area first.

UV: This fabric has not been tested for high UV exposure so we don't recommend it for items that will be permanently outdoors (such as garden cushions), as we can't guarantee the colours won't fade.

IRONING: If you want to iron this fabric or fuse interfacing to it, use a medium heat with no steam and iron from the back of the fabric. Test on an offcut first to ensure your iron settings won't damage the fabric.

RETURNS
NOT HAPPY WITH SOMETHING?
It’s important to us that you’re happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your products simply email us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com within 14 days of receiving your package and request a return. Or you can send us a Whatsapp message +447518142548. This is your “right of withdrawal”. Items must be returned at your expense, within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage or tracking when returning your items as we can’t guarantee receipt of your order.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. The simplest way to provide this is to reply to the original order confirmation email. To qualify for a refund, your products must be returned unused and in a re-saleable condition. Once we’ve inspected the returned items, we’ll refund you within 14 days. The refund will be processed to the same payment source used for purchase. In certain circumstances, we will only grant a partial refund. This includes where any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

When you cancel or return your order, we incur costs that are not refunded to us such as payment processing fees and postage costs. As a small business, these costs negatively impact us so please check measurements and read product details thoroughly before purchasing. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to send us an email.

If you haven’t received a refund when expected, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider. Please bear in mind, it can take several days for your bank to process the refund and show it in your account.
If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund 7 working days after you were notified of your refund, please contact us.

DAMAGED, FAULTY OR MISSING ITEMS?
If you think you’ve received an item that’s damaged, faulty, or otherwise incorrect, please contact us straight away by emailing us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com with a photo and description of the fault. We will get back to you within 48 hours to resolve the issue (usually quicker).

If we’ve sent you the wrong item, we’ll let you keep it at no cost, and we'll also send you the correct item.

If you believe an item is missing, please check the packaging thoroughly and unpack your entire order. We like to do our bit to help the planet and that means reducing packaging and space. To achieve this, we often roll items within each other. For example, if you’ve ordered 2 x 1 metre cuts of zip tape and 1 metre of webbing, we’ll roll them together in one bag. If your order is completely unpacked and you’re certain an item is missing, please email us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com.
