How to use this product

This step by step video tutorial shows the entire process of making the bag and is designed to work alongside the printed pattern, for those who don't like to use photo instructions.

This cute little hip bag is packed with pockets to keep you organised, including two zip pockets, card slots, a slip pocket and a main compartment. In this pattern I’ll introduce you to some new techniques to make a cute and useful everyday bag.
Exterior slip pocket with flap
Exterior zip pocket
Interior zip pocket
Six interior card slots
Due to the small size of this bag, I recommend quilting cotton as an ideal fabric. Canvas is also great and more experienced sewists may want to give cork or vinyl a try.

Whatever fabrics you decide to use, make sure they’re suitable for your sewing machine. For domestic machines, it’s usually best to stick with cotton, especially for your first bag.
6” tall x 9 ¾” wide x 1” deep [15.25cm x 24.75cm x 2.5cm]
Lots of pockets
Darts to create a 3D shape
Card slots
Adjustable strap to be worn around the waist or across the chest
You can sell products made from this design on a home-based production scale.
