I have now made 4 of these so I think I can safely say I highly recommend it! Not bad for a pattern that cost me £2. The price for making one bag alone is a bargain it itself. Also bought my hardware from Jo because the quality is excellent.

  2. Catie

This wasy very first pattern purchased here. It was the perfect dimensions for a purse for my mom and at that price it was a no brainer. The hardest part for me was the curved bottom, but having the well written instructions along with the video made it easier. And the separate lining pieces??? Beautiful. My lining looked professional…even on one of my very first bags!

  3. Angela May

This is an amazing pattern. As suggested it is pattern that “teaches” bag making techniques. As a beginner bag maker this pattern was a game changer and I still refer back to the tutorial when making other patterns as well. Plus the finished toulejay 2 is a lovely bag which I treasure and use often.

I’m in the process of making this and I’m loving the detail and thoughtfulness of the written pattern. You really are hand holding a new bag sewer without patronising those who are a bit more experienced. Really excited to see the finished bag as it’s for my friend’s 40th birthday! This was a really nice way to try one of your patterns at an affordable price too. Now I have my eyes on a couple of others! Thank you.

  5. Dawn Verified Owner

So having made the Teloujay 1.0 for my niece, I made this version for myself with the left over fabrics. I loved the first version but love this even more and will definitely be making another. This bag is the ideal size for throwing in all your essential items and having not one, but two outer pockets makes it just perfect. Its easy to construct and seeing each step as it progresses makes for exciting and interesting sewing! Another great design and pattern from Country Cow designs.

  8. Angela Rafferty Verified Owner

This was the very first bag I bought from the site. The quality of the pattern and instructions cannot be faulted. The price is equally great. The finished bag looks really good. I have made it a couple of times and I’m always really pleased with finished result.

  9. Vicki Baylis

As a complete novice to bag making I was pretty nervous about something that I thought would be complicated and difficult. The instructions for this pattern are so detailed and well written that it was easy to follow and the finished product almost looks professional if it weren’t for my wonky sewing!! This was my first Country Cow Designs pattern and I already have several more planned!

  10. Liz Verified Owner

A great little bag to sew up. As with all of Jo’s patterns the instructions are very clear and it was straightforward to sew on my domestic machine.

  11. Rebecca Day Verified Owner

I own all 3 of the Teloujay patterns but the 2.0 is definitely my favorite. All the patterns go together fantastically. The instructions are nice and easy to follow and the extra bonus of the You Tube tutorials help loads. I think my multiple Teloujay bags are the most professional looking of all my makes and I know it’s down to the excellent patterns and tips given to help make them. I highly recommend Country Cow designs and I’m looking forward to competing more bags in the future.

  12. Becky Abbott Verified Owner

My first serious attempt at a proper handbag pattern and it’s so much easier than it l thought it would be. Jo’s tutorial was a brilliant addition to the instructions and I’m so chuffed with my finished bag, so I’m off to see what else she’s got!

  13. Anj Harper

I’m a big fan of zipper closures, so had to make this Teloujay II too. It’s a little shorter than Teloujay I, but love it still.
