You'll need a rivet magnetic snap hand tool set or press die to set these snaps. As an example, this is the die we use in our hand press. However, you'll need to purchase a die that is suitable for the press you're using as they're not all the same.

How to use:
Cut some small offcuts of stabiliser. You can use these between the fabric layers to pad the magnetic snap to strengthen it.
Assemble your pocket or bag, inserting the stabiliser where the magnetic snap will be and securing it in place with glue.
Mark the location of the where you want each side of your magnetic snap to be.
Punch a 2mm hole where you want each side of the magnetic snap to be.
Push the snap through and place the rivet cap on the other side.
Press in place using a hand tool or press - you will need the correct dies.

EU Customers: We are unable to sell physical products to customers located in the EU through our website. If you're located in the EU, please use our Etsy shop. This will ensure the necessary taxes are collected before checkout and your order won't get delayed or charged when entering your country. Shipping is not available to Germany.

Other Countries (Canada, Puerto Rico, Switzerland, Norway, Australia, New Zealand): Fixed cost shipping calculated at checkout based on your order weight. Royal Mail International (tracked where available, 1-3 weeks). For other countries, please email us at and we'll see if we can help.

It’s important to us that you’re happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your products simply email us at within 14 days of receiving your package and request a return. Or you can send us a Whatsapp message +447518142548. This is your “right of withdrawal”. Items must be returned at your expense, within 30 days of receipt for a full refund. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage or tracking when returning your items as we can’t guarantee receipt of your order.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. The simplest way to provide this is to reply to the original order confirmation email. To qualify for a refund, your products must be returned unused and in a re-saleable condition. Once we’ve inspected the returned items, we’ll refund you within 14 days. The refund will be processed to the same payment source used for purchase. In certain circumstances, we will only grant a partial refund. This includes where any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery. 

When you cancel or return your order, we incur costs that are not refunded to us such as payment processing fees and postage costs. As a small business, these costs negatively impact us so please check measurements and read product details thoroughly before purchasing. If you have any questions before ordering, feel free to send us an email.

If you haven’t received a refund when expected, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider. Please bear in mind, it can take several days for your bank to process the refund and show it in your account.
If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund 7 working days after you were notified of your refund, please contact us.

If you think you’ve received an item that’s damaged, faulty, or otherwise incorrect, please contact us straight away by emailing us at with a photo and description of the fault. We will get back to you within 48 hours to resolve the issue (usually quicker). 

If we’ve sent you the wrong item, we’ll let you keep it at no cost, and we'll also send you the correct item. 

If you believe an item is missing, please check the packaging thoroughly and unpack your entire order. We like to do our bit to help the planet and that means reducing packaging and space. To achieve this, we often roll items within each other. For example, if you’ve ordered 2 x 1 metre cuts of zip tape and 1 metre of webbing, we’ll roll them together in one bag. In no event shall Country Cow Designs or its directors be liable for any direct, indirect, punitive, incidental, special, consequential damages to property or life, whatsoever arising out of or connected with the use or misuse of our products. When purchasing products from Country Cow Designs it is the responsibility of the consumer to check the product is functioning as expected before using it. If the product is faulty or malfunctioning in any way, the consumer must notify Country Cow Designs and arrange for a replacement before using the product.
