How to use:

Cut some small offcuts of stabiliser. You can use these to pad behind the magnetic snap to strengthen it.
Mark the location of the where you want each side of your magnetic snap to be.
For the female part of the snap, place the washer over each mark and mark the slide slits.
Cut the side slits with a sharp craft knife or a seam ripper but be very careful not to cut more than the slits.
Push the prongs of the female snap through each slit.
Cut the slits in the stabiliser offcut too, and slide a piece onto the prongs.
Place the washer over the prongs.
Push the prongs down flat, away from the centre of the snap.
If desired, cover the prongs with duct tape or stabiliser to prevent them from rubbing on the lining fabric of your bag.
To fit the male part of the snap, slip it over the top of your flap or slip pocket piece before sewing up the bottom of the pocket.
Slip an offcut of stabiliser between the fabric layers so it’s between the magnetic snap to give it added support.
Add some glue between the fabrics and magnetic snap, then screw into place.
