RETURNS
NOT HAPPY WITH SOMETHING?

It’s important to us that you’re happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your products simply email us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com within 60 days of receiving your package and request a return. Or you can send us a Whatsapp message 07518142548 (+447518142548 if you’re outside the UK). This is your “right of withdrawal”. Items must be returned at your expense, within 90 days of receipt for a full refund. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage or tracking when returning your items as we can’t guarantee receipt of your order.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. The simplest way to provide this is to reply to the original order confirmation email. To qualify for a refund, your products must be returned unused and in a re-saleable condition. Once we’ve inspected the returned items, we’ll refund you within 7 days. The refund will be processed to the same payment source used for purchase. In certain circumstances, we will only grant a partial refund. This includes where any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 90 days after delivery.

When you cancel or return your order, we incur costs that are not refunded to us such as payment processing fees and postage costs. As a small business, these costs negatively impact us so please check measurements and read product details thoroughly before purchasing. If you haven’t received a refund when expected, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider. Please bear in mind, it can take several days for your bank to process the refund and show it in your account.

If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund 7 working days after you were notified of your refund, please contact us.

DAMAGED, FAULTY OR MISSING ITEMS?
If you think you’ve received an item that’s damaged, faulty, or otherwise incorrect, please contact us straight away by emailing us at shop@countrycowdesigns.com with a photo and description of the fault. Or whatsapp message us on 07518142548 (+447518142548 if you’re outside the UK). We will get back to you within 24 hours to resolve the issue (usually quicker).

If we’ve sent you the wrong item, we’ll let you keep it at no cost, and we'll also send you the correct item.

If you believe an item is missing, please check the packaging thoroughly and unpack your entire order. We like to do our bit to help the planet and that means reducing packaging and space. To achieve this, we often roll items within each other. For example, if you’ve ordered 2 x 1 metre cuts of zip tape and 1 metre of webbing, we’ll roll them together in one bag. This bias binding is a general-purpose textile trim intended for use in sewing bags, garments, and accessories. Please read the following important safety information before use. This product has not been tested for flammability or certified for any specific use.

Important Safety Information

• Flammability & Melting Risk: This product is not flame-retardant and has not been tested to meet flammability standards. Polyester is a synthetic material that will melt when exposed to high heat or open flames. Melting synthetic fabric can stick to skin and cause severe burns. It must not be used in high-risk applications where flame resistance is required.
• Unsuitable for Children’s Products: This bias binding is not suitable for use in products intended for infants or children, including but not limited to: clothing for babies or young children, bedding, blankets, sleepwear, toys, or soft furnishings for nurseries.
• Entanglement & Strangulation Hazard: Because bias binding is supplied in long, narrow rolls or lengths, it poses an inherent strangulation and entanglement risk to young children and pets. Keep raw, loose binding away from children. When manufacturing finished items (such as bags or accessories), ensure loops or straps are constructed safely and do not create accidental hazards.
• Choking Hazard (Scraps & Fraying): While this product does not contain an internal cord, small cut pieces, offcuts, or heavily frayed loose synthetic threads can still pose a choking hazard for young children and pets if ingested. Dispose of all scraps immediately.
• Non-Food Grade Material: This product is NOT food-grade and should not be used in direct contact with unwrapped food items or for any purpose where ingestion is possible.
• Not for Medical Use: This product is not sterilized or designed for medical applications.
• Allergies & Skin Irritation: While rare, some individuals may have sensitivities or allergies to certain synthetic fibres, dyes, or textile finishes, potentially causing skin irritation. Wash your hands after handling if you experience any discomfort.
• Dust & Fine Fibres: Cutting and manipulation of polyester binding can release fine synthetic dust particles, lint, or micro-fibres, which may cause respiratory irritation in sensitive individuals. Work in a well-ventilated area and clean your workspace regularly to minimize accumulation.
• Chemical Residues (Minor): Textiles may contain trace processing residues from manufacturing and dyeing. While within safe limits for general textile use, direct ingestion or prolonged contact for highly sensitive individuals could cause discomfort. Wash your hands after handling raw binding, especially before eating.
• Packaging: We often package our products in plastic bags to keep them dry and clean during transit. To avoid danger of suffocation, keep all plastic packaging away from babies and children.

Use & Safe Handling Recommendations

• Use Only as Intended: This bias binding is supplied as a raw material trim. It is the responsibility of the end user/maker to ensure that any finished product utilizing this binding complies with all relevant safety standards and regulations applicable to its final use context.
• Storage: Store in a dry, cool place, away from open flames, direct heat sources, or intense UV light which can degrade synthetic fibres over time.
• Handling Bias Cut Edges: Because bias binding is cut on the diagonal (the bias), the raw edges can stretch or fray if handled aggressively before stitching. Handle carefully during production and ensure all raw edges are fully enclosed within your final stitched seams to maintain structural integrity.
• Workspace Safety: Use appropriate, sharp tools when cutting. Dispose of all offcuts and scraps responsibly, keeping your workspace free from loose lengths or small pieces.
