About the Teloujay 3 crossbody bag:
This is the third in the Teloujay series. This series of bag patterns are designed to teach new and useful bag making skills. They’re also great daily crossbody bags. Each bag in the series features different construction methods and a different design. We recommend this pattern as suitable for ambitious beginners who are eager to learn new skills. It features a zip top closure, an exterior slip pocket and an interior zip pocket.

PLEASE NOTE that in order to make the bag, you’ll need the following things, none of which are included in the kit:
- Good domestic sewing machine
- Needles suitable to your machine, we recommend universal size 70/10 for the cotton, universal size 100/16 for the final topstitching step
- Thread suitable to your machine
- Cutting mat and tools, fabric scissors
- Measuring tools such as a quilting ruler
- Tailors chalk or erasable fabric pen
- Rivet press and 9mm rivet dies (if you want to use the rivets, but they are optional)
- Fabric glue or sewable double sided tape (not essential but will make things much easier)
- Wonder clips or pins, to hold things in place
- Seam ripper (none of us are perfect)
Bag making experience will be helpful, but this pattern is suitable for ambitious beginners and includes full step by step photo instructions and a video tutorial.
