Physical orders: Purchases before midday are usually dispatched the same day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (except bank holidays).

Free delivery: UK & USA purchases of £50 or more (see below for other countries)

 

PDF Sewing Patterns

All sewing patterns on our site are PDFs and will be automatically delivered to you by email when purchased. See the “How to download patterns” page for further information.  If you don’t receive your download link straight away, you can download your patterns from your account login, or email us at countrycowdesigns@gmail.com for additional help.

Physical Products – UK

  • Orders dispatched using Royal Mail 24 (delivery aim is 1 working day): fixed price is £3 for  the UK and FREE for orders over £50.
  • If your package hasn’t arrived within 10 working days, please contact us at countrycowdesigns@gmail.com, so we can review/resend your order. We can’t be held responsible for the errors or delays of Royal Mail in delivering your package, but we will do what we can to locate the package for you if it’s delayed. We cannot resend your order until 10 working days have passed.
  • Orders dispatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery are guaranteed for delivery by 1pm next working day. Delivery is guaranteed for the next working day but please note that dispatch is not guaranteed. Purchases before midday are usually dispatched the same day on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday & Friday (except bank holidays). Special delivery is tracked and insured.

 

Physical Products – EU

  • Delivery to the EU only available for orders over £135 – Delivery is free
  • Due to complex EU tax laws, orders under £135 must be placed through our Etsy shop 
  • Under EU regulations, we are classed as a trader
  • VAT is NOT included. Your country will charge an import handling fee and VAT when your order arrives. This is payable by you, not Country Cow Designs Ltd
  • Delivery takes 1-2 weeks, tracked
  • Please contact us if you have not received your package within 32 working days. This is the amount of time that must pass before the courier will accept a claim for a lost parcel. After this time we can resend or refund your order. We are a small business and cannot afford to reimburse lost packages ourselves so you will need to wait for the parcel to be declared lost. 99.99% of packages turn up within the 32 working day period so we will not be able to resend or refund your order until that time has passed.
  • You are responsible for checking the import rules for your country before placing an order.

 

Physical Products – USA

  • Delivery to mainland USA, Hawaii & Puerto Rico.
  • Delivery costs are based on weight. Update your address on the checkout page to show shipping options.
  • FREE standard delivery for orders over £50 (approx $65USD)
  • International delivery takes 1-3 weeks, tracked
  • Please contact us if you have not received your package within 32 working days. This is the amount of time that must pass before the courier will accept a claim for a lost parcel. After this time we can resend or refund your order. We are a small business and cannot afford to reimburse lost packages ourselves so you will need to wait for the parcel to be declared lost. 99.99% of packages turn up within the 32 working day period so we will not be able to resend or refund your order until that time has passed.
  • You are responsible for paying any import taxes or fees due for shipments into the USA. Import fees, taxes and handling fees from the delivery company are NOT included in our delivery cost. You are responsible for checking the import rules for your country before placing an order.

 

Physical Products – CANADA, NORWAY, SERBIA, SWITZERLAND, MOLDOVA, SINGAPORE, AUSTRALIA, BARBADOS, SOUTH AFRICA & NEW ZEALAND

  • Delivery costs are based on weight. Update your address on the checkout page to show shipping options.
  • FREE standard delivery for orders over £75
  • International delivery takes 1-3 weeks, tracked
  • Please contact us if you have not received your package within 32 working days. This is the amount of time that must pass before the courier will accept a claim for a lost parcel. After this time we can resend or refund your order. We are a small business and cannot afford to reimburse lost packages ourselves so you will need to wait for the parcel to be declared lost. 99.99% of packages turn up within the 32 working day period so we will not be able to resend or refund your order until that time has passed.
  • You are responsible for paying any import taxes or fees due for shipments into Canada. Import fees, taxes and handling fees from the delivery company are NOT included in our delivery cost. You are responsible for checking the import rules for your country before placing an order.

 

Physical Products – OTHER COUNTRIES

  • If no shipping options are shown at checkout, or your country isn’t listed, please contact us using the contact page and we can provide a shipping quote.
  • You are responsible for paying any import taxes or fees due for shipments into your country. Import fees, taxes and handling fees from the delivery company are NOT included in our delivery cost. You are responsible for checking the import rules for your country before placing an order.

Delayed or Lost parcels: Orders that are lost in the post will be resent by us once we have verified the correct delivery details and the parcel is confirmed as lost by the courier. UK orders are classed as lost 10 working days after dispatch. International orders are classed as lost 32 working days after dispatch. 95% of deliveries arrive in the expected time (1 working day for UK parcels, 1-3 weeks for international). If a parcel is returned to us because you supplied us with an incorrect address, we will request that you pay an additional shipping payment so we can re-send the order to you.

Refund Policy

PDF Sewing Patterns

Unfortunately as our sewing patterns are digital items, they can’t be returned so we’re unable to offer refunds for digital purchases.

When purchasing a digital product from us, the terms & conditions at checkout confirm that you give up your right to cancel the purchase under EU consumer laws as the item is non-returnable.

 

Physical Products

It’s important to us that you’re happy with your purchase, but if for any reason you’re not happy with your products simply contact us by email at countrycowdesigns@gmail.com within 14 days of receiving your package. Or Whatsapp us at +447518 142548. This is your “right of withdrawal”. We’re a small company and can’t pay the shipping for you to return the product if you decide you don’t want it. Items must be returned at your expense, within 30 days of receipt for a full refund.

Please double check measurements and read product details thoroughly before purchasing. When you cancel or return your order, we incur costs that are not refunded to us. For example, Paypal or payment processing fees from the transaction are NOT refunded to us. We don’t pass these costs on to you, but we’re a small business and these costs do affect us.

To qualify for a refund, the products must be unused and in re-saleable condition. Once we’ve inspected the returned items, we’ll refund you within 14 days. The refund will be processed to the same payment source used for purchase.

Return delivery charges are payable by the customer, not Country Cow Designs, except where items are faulty.

Non-returnable items include digital sewing patterns. To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. The simplest way to provide this is to contact me by replying to the original order confirmation email.

In certain circumstances, we will only grant a partial refund. This includes where any item is not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error, or any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.

You’ll be responsible for paying for your own postage costs for returning your order. We recommend that you obtain proof of postage or tracking when returning your items as we can’t guarantee receipt of your order.

 

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll send you an email to notify you that we’ve received your returned items. We’ll also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. The refund will be to the same payment source used for purchase.

 

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund when expected, we recommend contacting your bank or credit card provider.  Please bear in mind, it can take several days for your bank to process the refund and show it in your account.
If you’ve done this and you still have not received your refund 7 working days after you were notified of your refund, please contact us.

 

Damaged/Faulty items: If you think you’ve received an item that’s damaged, faulty, or otherwise incorrect, please contact us at countrycowdesigns@gmail.com with a photo and description of the fault. We will get back to you within 48 hours to try to resolve the issue.
