The Lowarn sewalong is a free sewalong split across 4 sessions. We’re making the no pockets version, which is an intermediate pattern. If you haven’t been able to join us live, you’re free to watch later and still share your finished bag with us here.

The sewalong is being held live on my YouTube channel.

The pattern is available to purchase here: Lowarn Pattern

  1. My finished bag. My second Country Cow make. It’s not perfect as I definitely need to work on my curves and binding. Thank you Jo, Debbie and Adam.

      1. You wouldn’t have known I was sick while I was making it. I had a horrible cold before Part 3 but was able to sit and work on most of it that day. Then yesterday, my ear filled with fluid so I have trouble hearing out of that ear. I was so far behind you all but I finished and that is what counts r- right? Can’t wait to make another bag.

  2. Here is my finished bag, picture of front, side and interior. Used Decovil heavy and cork on the bottom, so had a bear of a time sewing the side panels. So much so I decided to overlock the interior side panel seams instead of binding them. They came out just fine, also made a crossbody strap out of the exterior fabric and cotton webbing that will just connect to the handle rectangles. Thanks for great ‘sew along’ maybe next time I can watch ‘live’

  3. Bit wonky and my machine really didn’t like all the bulk in the final side seam using Bosal foam, but I’m pleased with it. Might try again using Decovil. Quite pleased with my first ever bag rivets.
