This is a PDF pattern in English available for instant download. See the “DOWNLOAD INSTRUCTIONS” page for details on how to download your pattern after purchase.

The Vordenza is designed to be the perfect everyday bag, with room to fit your wallet, sunglasses, keys & phone. The pattern includes two size options. The large size is just the right size to fit a standard iPad/tablet as well as some other essentials, and the small will fit an iPad mini.

It features an interior slip pocket as well as 4 card slots and 2 exterior zip pockets.

There are no raw edges in the pattern so you can use cotton, cork or vinyl, provided your machine can manage it. There is a neat zipper panel closure on top and it has an adjustable cross-body strap. There’s no binding used in this pattern.

The orange plaid bag featured in the photos is a large size and the purple and grey is small. Both bags shown were made on a domestic sewing machine.

Materials required:

  • 34″ No.5 zipper tape & 3 zipper pulls
  • 2 x 1″ Rectangle rings
  • 1 x 1″ Strap slider
  • 15″ x 15″ Exterior fabric (for the base)
  • 1/2yd Feature fabric (44″ width)
  • 3/4 yd Lining fabric (44″ width)
  • 1 1/4yd Medium woven interfacing – SF101/Wovenfuse/G700 (35″ width)
  • 1/3yd Medium non-woven interfacing – Pellon Craftfuse (35″ width)
  • 1/2yd Sew-in foam – Bosal/Annie’s S&S/Style-Vil (28″ width)

Want to make it with the zip on just one side? Simply sew the top and main panel together on one of the sides with 1/4″ seam allowance and don’t fit the zip.

As this is an electronic product, I cannot process refunds or returns as it cannot be returned once delivered. This pattern, once purchased, is not to be shared or reproduced in anyway.
