We get asked quite a lot, \u201cHow do I become a pattern tester?\u201d In this blog post we’ll cover what’s involved in being a pattern tester, and our top tips if you want to get involved in pattern testing.<\/p>\n

The first thing to know is that good pattern testers are crucial to a successful bag pattern and it’s release. Therefore, we’re very choosy about who tests our patterns, and when we find a good one, we try to keep hold of them! We are so grateful for our current and past testers who have played an important role in the history of Country Cow Designs!<\/p>\n

At the time of writing this article, we have a full roster of 30 pattern testers, so we ourselves are not taking on any more testers right now. But this changes with time. We have 3 permanent testers who take part in all (or almost all) of our pattern tests. Then we have up to 7 rotating testers per pattern. Our rotating testers join 1 in every 3 or 4 tests.<\/p>\n
