It\u2019s so quick and easy but they can be a bit plain. I recently made a \u201cfancy\u201d webbing strap combining it with leather offcuts. To our surprise it turned out better than we thought and wasn\u2019t that hard so Jo asked me to make another for this blog post. It\u2019s worth the effort. In this example I&#8217;m using 2.2mm veg tan. I bevelled and burnished the edges. <a href=\"https:\/\/youtu.be\/NXMN9Dp54ko\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Here&#8217;s a short video showing how I do this.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>2.<\/strong> Combine the leather connector to the swivel hooks. Bring the webbing back so the two raw edges are matching. Sandwich the two edges together in between the leather connector. I recommend using fabric glue to keep this together which will make sewing it easier. While the glue dries, I like to use bulldog clips with a bit of scrap leather.
